EthanLab ("we", "our", "us") operates the LedgerSnap mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Account Information — When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier. This information is stored securely in Firebase Authentication.
Expense Data — You may enter expense information including amounts, item descriptions, merchant names, dates, categories, and notes. This data is synced to Firebase Realtime Database for cloud backup and shared book features.
Receipt Images — When you scan receipts, the images are processed by AI to extract expense information. Receipt images are stored in Firebase Storage and sent to Anthropic Claude for processing.
Budget Information — Budget settings including total limits, category limits, and lifestyle preferences are stored locally and synced to Firebase.
These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers, including expenses, budgets, receipt images, and conversation history. Local data is also cleared from your device.
Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
